Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, November 18, 2024 – The highly anticipated SAL Jeddah GT Race 2024 is set to officially commence in just ten days, on 29 November. Spanning two evenings, this landmark event will feature two major motorsport races:
- Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS, a prestigious six-hour endurance race covering 1,000 km, making it the longest circuit race in Saudi Arabia’s history.
- GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club, an elite championship bringing further prestige to the event.
Venue Prepared to Host World-Class Racing
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit, celebrated as the fastest street circuit in the world, has completed its final preparations to host the SAL Jeddah GT Race 2024. This event marks a significant addition to Saudi Arabia's ever-expanding portfolio of international motorsport championships, further reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a leading global destination for elite sporting events.
Competition Structure
- Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS includes four categories:
- Pro: A showcase for the world’s finest drivers and teams vying for top honours.
- Gold: Designed to cultivate and elevate emerging driving talents.
- Silver: A competitive platform featuring a mix of amateur and semi-professional drivers.
- Bronze: A unique category combining experienced professionals with promising young drivers, offering a valuable learning experience.
Iconic manufacturers participating include Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes AMG, BMW M Sport, Audi Sport, and Ford.
The GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club will feature three competitive categories: Silver, Pro-Am, and Am, promising an exciting spectacle for motorsport enthusiasts.
