The 47th edition of the world-famous Dakar Rally took place from January 3rd to 17th, 2025, marking the sixth edition of the event in Saudi Arabia.

For the sixth consecutive year, the motorsport world will focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as it hosts the most prestigious and challenging endurance rally globally.

The world's most fearless endurance racers will navigate diverse and spectacular landscapes, varied terrains, and changing climate zones.

The 2025 edition of Dakar Saudi Arabia will commence in the city of Bisha, located in the southwest of the Kingdom. The journey will span 12 stages over 14 days of racing, during which competitors will traverse many areas featuring a wide array of terrains. This will allow participants to explore the Kingdom's most stunning natural landscapes and archaeological sites. The rally will culminate in Shubaytah in the Empty Quarter, the largest continuous sand desert in the world.
